Stop and Drink the Rosés

Last weekend’s Saturday Wine Tasting was a lot of fun, so we’ve decided to do it again.  This Saturday we’re offering a really incredible and rare selection of Rosés served with light hors d’oeuvres from 4-6pm for $25.

Pink wine has gotten a pretty bad rap ever since some time in the 80’s when our mom’s started drinking White Zinfandel like it was water.  In my fridge, there was always a box of the pink juice available.  Thankfully, the reality of pink wine is quite the opposite.  They are complex, beautifully balanced, and distinctly different from each other.  Rosés are perfect summertime wines, and their diversity allows for pairings with a multitude of foods.  Here is the line-up for tomorrow (some of them have links with a little extra information).  This is a best of the best tasting and we hope you’ll join us.

2011 Domaine Tempier

2011 Domaine de Terrebrune

NV Langlois Cremant de Rosé

2010 Stemmler Vin Gris of Pinot Noir

2010 Dr. Heyden Trocken

1998 R. Lopez de Heredia Gran Reserva

We’d love to have you stay for dinner afterwards, so just give us a call at 619-563-1011 or use our online system and we’ll hold a table for you.  Looking forward to seeing you soon!
