Hello everyone! We hope you are having a great week. We’ve got some new menu items for the weekend so lets get right to it…
-Italian Wedding Soup of Niman Ranch pork & beef meatballs, escarole, orecchiette and shaved aged parmesan.
–Grilled Asparagus with poached egg, aged Spanish Jamon Serrano and aged parmesan
–Summer Zucchini Carbonara. Bucatini with pancetta, chili, green & yellow zucchini and squash blossoms
–Wiener Schnitzel and Gruyere Spaetzle. Pounded and breaded all natural pork loin with gruyere spaetzle and broccolini
We have a lot of new wines, but we are especially excited about the 2008 Kabaj Rebula or “Ribolla” from Brda, Slovenia. If you like the Movia you should definitely check this out. It’s an exceptional value at $40 and a great pairing with the Schnitzel.
We also are really digging the Brown Ale on draft from Temecula’s Black Market Brewing.
For anyone who feels like getting out and about for some dive bar dancing tonight, Jon will be playing the grand opening of the Black Cat Bar in City Heights at University and 42nd with The Amandas. 10:30pm and free!
