Arthur Guinness Day, Saturday Tasting Series with Kermit Lynch Wines and John Cusack provides insight into why Jaynes takes a pass on Restaurant Week

We continue our Saturday Tasting series tomorrow Saturday, September 25th with our good friend Kate MacWilliamson from Kermit Lynch Wines.  Kate will be pouring the 2006 Extegaraya Cuvee Lehengoa Irouleguy, 2008 Guy Breton Morgon Beaujolais and another surprise bottle. Please join us for what will certainly be a highlight of the series.  3 top shelf French selections for $10 from 5-6pm.

Tonight Friday the 24th we celebrate Arthur Guinness Day. Come celebrate Mr G.’s brithday with a creamy 20oz imperial pint for just $3

Our special this weekend is Bacon Wrapped Filet Mignon with garlic mashed potatoes, grilled asparagus, wild mushrooms and a tarragon butter.

Jaynes does not participate in Restaurant Week.   Think of us as your oasis at the top of 30th Street.   A guest recently asked us why.   I feel the answer can best be summed up by Mr. John Cusack in the 1989 Cameron Crowe directed romantic comedy Say Anything.

  1. LOL… I have never had the experience of the “interview”… but with John Cusack’s appeal… I don’t think an interview was necessary.

    aha… I got it.
