Rioja in the summertime? Just ask sommelier Jesse Rodriguez

We were thrilled to open up the current issue of Sunset magazine to read that celeb sommelier Jesse Rodriguez (who runs the wine program up at the Addison in Del Mar) called the patio at Jaynes one his favorite places to drink Rioja.

The summer’s still hot and the Rioja is cold.

Our favorite? The 1998 Rioja Tondonia Rosado Reserva by López de Heredia (click here to read more).

The patio opens at 5 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
