Where the kisses are hers and hers and his…

Jayne and Jon thank everyone for coming out to support the first-ever San Diego Natural Wine Summit yesterday. That’s Aria, above, one of our favorite neighbors, who waited faithfully outside while her daddy’s tasted more than 30 natural wines (there were lots of special surprises that appeared at the tasting as well).

We love natural wine not just because it’s so good (and so food friendly). We love it also because it represents an attitude and a way of living and thinking about food and wine, about what we put in our bodies, and how we live our lives. As Jayne put it best, “the things I like the most are the things that are manipulated the least.”

Thank you, thank you to everyone who came out yesterday to support our first major public event and for supporting natural wines and the people who love them. The tasting was a blast, Chef Daniel’s food was enjoyed by all, and we were thrilled to share the wines we love so much with you. We’ll be posting all week with highlights and photos so check back soon. And in the meantime…

Come and knock on our door…

Kudos to the JG and Do Bianchi teams! A very special afternoon indeed…great wine (my dads really enjoyed the Gruner Veltliner and Arcese), great food (we must get the pork quesadillas on the menu) and great friends! If JG wasn’t already my favorite restaurant, it certainly would be now!
